  1.  Go to the top left corner of your mac and press the Apple Icon then click on System Settings.   




For Mac 12



  1.  Scroll down till you see Privacy & Security then click on Privacy & Security.



For mac 12

  1.   Scroll down till you see FileVault then click on FileVault



For mac 12: Click FileVault and click on the lock icon to be able to make changes.




  1.    Then click on turn on FileVault. 



  1.   A popup will appear make sure you select “Create a recovery key and do not use my Icloud account”



  1.   IMPORTANT - A code will popup PLEASE SEND THIS CODE TO kurtis@8twelve.mortgage either on Gmail or slack. Then press continue.
